The Duluth Community Garden Program (DCGP) is looking for volunteers to join our Board of Directors. The DCGP board is made up of an active group of community members committed to land access and food justice, we would love to have more members in our mix!
You would be a great fit for the board if:
You are willing to commit to a 2-year term.
You have the capacity and energy to contribute your experiences, opinions, expertise, and time to making DCGP a great organization.
You have capacity to attend a monthly board meeting and volunteer an additional 0-2 hours/month depending on current projects.
You are passionate about: land access, food justice, gardening, vegetables, compost, and making a difference in local communities.
You have any of the following skills:
-business background
-accounting/bookkeeping
-marketing
-fundraising
Board members do not need to be gardeners, only committed to DCGP's mission and success.
