Today’s teachers receive very little money to spend on supplies to enhance the learning experience. Consequently, many teachers spend their own money (as much as $800 a year) for basic needs such as paper, glue sticks, art supplies and more.
Companies to Classrooms Duluth addresses this problem in a unique way. Donations of excess supplies from local businesses and individuals are collected and displayed in a “free store” for teachers. You can help us by organizing a supply drive or dropping off any of the items form the list below:
- Glue sticks (washable)
- Markers (Crayola washable broadline classic colors)
- Painter's tape (blue or green, 1.5 inch)
- Paper clips
- Printer paper (reams of white)
- Scotch tape dispensers
- Scotch tape refills (not tape in clear plastic dispensers)
- Staples (standard size)
- Staplers
- White Out or Liquid Paper (bottles, pens or tape)
Donations can be dropped off on the 2nd Saturday of each month, 10am-1pm.
