This day of outdoor fun is an important fundraising event for Northland Adaptive Recreation adaptive sports and recreation programs that promote an active lifestyle, overall health and independence. Shoot For Fun is the largest sporting clay event in Minnesota, drawing over 450 hunting and sporting clay enthusiasts from across Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Volunteers needed!
- Over 100 volunteers make the Shoot for Fun possible. It’s social, casual, and of course – fun!
- Volunteers help run sporting clay stations and games, sell tickets, help with the silent auction tent, and help run the game tents.
- Shooting experience is NOT necessary, all meals are included.
- minimum age 16 years
- New Volunteer orientation on Friday is required for all new volunteers, dinner will be provided.
2024 Shoot for Fun Dates:
- Friday, September 6: Set-Up (2pm-5:30pm) & New Volunteer Orientation* & Dinner (5:30-7pm)
- Saturday, September 7: Shoot for Fun Event (8am-5pm), and Take-Down (5:30-7pm)
