Who We Are

Community Action Duluth's mission is to empower and engage our community to eliminate poverty.

Founded in 1965, the Duluth Community Action Program gained independence from the city in 1982 and established itself as a 501(c)(3) non-profit.

Current programs and new initiatives focus on helping individuals and families with low income reduce their isolation, acquire assets and develop healthy relationships that support their transition from poverty to self-sufficiency.
