PLAYGROUND RENEWAL AT HARBOR HIGHLANDS
Love Your Block (a City of Duluth initiative), is helping Harbor Highlands with a playground renewal. This will greatly improve the safety & aesthetic look of the neighborhood and playground. This will be more active work in a sunny spot. We will have different volunteer positions for all ages and abilities. Note: We ask that youth under 12 have adult supervision. We’re looking for volunteers to help with:
- Graffiti removal
- Removing old mulch
- Laying down new surface felt
- Re-mulching
- Re-surfacing
When: Friday September 2 (shifts available between 11am-4pm)
Where: Playground at Bay Breeze Bend and Harbor Highlands Drive
