- Clean the treatment rooms. This includes wiping everything down with sani-wipes. Volunteers are essentially performing basic infection control. They will not be in contact with blood or bodily fluids.
- Pass snacks to patients that are receiving infusions and refill the snack basket when necessary
- Fill the blanket warmer
- Offer warm blankets to patients
- Assist with washing donated wigs and organizing the wig room
- Volunteers may occasionally be asked to help with miscellaneous jobs, i.e. labeling, mailing, etc.
- interacting with patients and their families
- decorating for special events
