Lake Superior Community Health Center (LSCHC) seeks 2-3 new members to join our Board of Directors. LSCHC is governed by a volunteer board, the majority of which are also patients at our clinics. As a Federally Qualified Health Care Center, LSCHC receives funding from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). In order to best serve our community and understand patient experience, it is the belief of HRSA and LSCHC that the Board of Directors should be reflective of the clinic’s patient panel. In order for LSCHC to meet this goal, we are currently seeking males between the ages of 18 – 64 to join our Board. In addition, we are seeking applicants with experience in the following areas:
- Construction Management
- Property Management
- Building Engineering
- Finance
- General Business
- Architecture
The mission of Lake Superior Community Health Center is Improving Access to Quality Health Care for All. In 2017, LSCHC served over 11,000 patients at our clinic locations in Duluth, MN and Superior, WI. We offer integrated services in the following areas: Medical, Dental, Behavioral Health, Substance Abuse Treatment, and Health Care Access.
