We will be assisting the City of Duluth in removing invasive plant species through a Duluth Invaders project. Duluth Invaders is a service initiative organized by the City of Duluth to mobilize citizen volunteers to assist in controlling and removing terrestrial invasive plants, as well as restore the lands damaged by them within the City of Duluth. Minimum age to volunteer is 12.
When: Saturday September 24 from 1:00-2:30pm
Where: Lester Park (this is the same day as the Lester River Rendezvous). This is a great project for youth and families.
