Tutor students after school at Denfeld High School or come Volunteer with fun activites f or the up coming School Year!!! 2026-2027
As a volunteer, you will support us in maintaining DASH (Denfeld After School Happenings), an after-school program for high schoolers meant to provide a safe space to study, access tutors, and participate in activities.
DASH runs on Mondays - Thursday 3:30-5:30 in the Media Center at Denfeld High School.
We especially need tutors who can consistently attend DASH for at least one day week-to-week. This is important because tutoring is most beneficial to students when they see the same tutors every week and can build relationships with those tutors. Tutors for all subject areas are welcome! Math and chemistry are especially desired. You do not need tutoring experience to volunteer with us.
Volunteer commitments:
Show up in-person for the students weekly
Submit to a background check
Personal commitment to anti-racism and the mission, goals, and philosophy of the Duluth Community School Collaborative
Volunteers are supervised by the Denfeld Full-Service Community School Coordinator.
