April showers bring May flowers… and new raised beds at the Eco3 Urban Farm. Join us Saturday, May 2, to build relationships and raised beds that will serve our community for seasons to come.
The current wooden raised beds are deteriorating, and the farm team needs YOUR help removing them and redesigning our growing space. We will start this project by taking apart the wooden structures and hauling away heavy material. Volunteers of all skill levels are welcome – there is a role for everyone.

- When: Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Where: Eco3 Urban Farm, 2101 Trinity Rd, Duluth, MN 55811
What we provide:
- Training (1:10 - 1:30 p.m.): All volunteers will be guided on how to safely navigate the construction site including, proper heavy lifting techniques, working with and around power tools, and effective team communication.
- PPE such as work gloves, eye protection, will be provided by Eco3. Hearing protection can be provided upon request.
Participation guidelines:
- Volunteers must be comfortable bending down and able to lift 25 lbs.
- Volunteers are required to wear long pants and closed-toe shoes for the entire event.
- We recommend bringing a water bottle to stay hydrated.
