18th Annual Clean Yer Creek
Kingsbury, Keene, Merritt, Miller, Chester, Lester/Amity Creeks
Saturday, May 2 from 10 am to 1 pm

Overview
An annual free volunteer initiative dedicated to the removal of trash and debris from Duluth, MN creeks and the Lake Superior watershed. Join us for the 18th Annual Clean Yer Creek event! We will comb six (6) creeks for abandoned trash, illegal dumping, and debris. Please join us for this fun spring day outside as we work together to improve our local Duluth watersheds. Don't forget to share this event with co-workers, friends, and family!

After Parties: Beer & Grub

All volunteers will be rewarded with a post-cleanup party where we will enjoy a complimentary beer or NA beverage and discounted food.

Event T-Shirts – Help Keep the Tradition Going
After registering, you’ll receive a link to our merch store along with a code for one complimentary t-shirt. As our event continues to grow, we encourage participants to purchase additional shirts for $10 (our cost to print) if they are able. Choosing to purchase helps us sustain our 10-year tradition of iconic tees and allows more funding to go directly toward essential event expenses like cleanup supplies, storage, and administrative costs.

To reduce waste, please also bring your own water bottle as water jugs will be available for refills. All creeks have trails along certain areas of the creeks for easy access, where some areas will need to be accessed by vehicle. About Clean Yer Creek:

Over a decade and a half ago, Loll Designs started planting trees around the Duluth, Minnesota area with a focus to create and enhance a healthy planet, along with inspiring people to appreciate the local Duluth outdoors. After the Duluth flood of 2012, it was clear, the creeks and the watersheds of Lake Superior needed attention. Loll Designs and other local patrons came together in clearing the creeks of debris and runoff. Thus, the expansion of tree planting and creek cleanups combo came to fruition.

Every year Loll Designs, Chester Bowl Improvement Club, Wild State Cider, Lake Superior Brewing, Bent Paddle Brewing, Lake Superior Zoo, and Keep Duluth Clean team up, with other local patrons, to conduct its annual creek clean up. Volunteers from around the area convene on Kingsbury, Keene, Miller, Chester, Merritt, and Lester/Amity Creeks, to help physically remove trash and debris out of our waterways. Over the years thousands of volunteers have helped, thousands of trees have been planted, and tons of trash have been collected in efforts to keep our beloved Lake Superior blue and magnify the beautification of our city.
