Help support CORE's work to enrich the lives of older adults and reduce food insecurity by providing customer support at CORE's Encore Resale Store.
Duties include:
1. Customer Support:
- Greet customers upon arrival and thank them for shopping at Encore
- Inform customers of sales, discounts, and free area.
- Help customers if they need assistance.
- Help Cashier bag purchased items.
- Wrap fragile items in paper before bagging.
2. Maintain Store Appearance
- Straighten displays throughout the store.
- Restock items left in changing room or on the rack outside the changing room.
- Pick-up items that have fallen down and put item back in its original spot if moved by a customer.
- Walk through store several times during shift to ensure it looks clean and attractive.
3. Donations
- Accept donations
- Offer a receipt for the donations.
- Leave the receipt blank so the customer can fill in the details.
Proceeds from Encore Resale Store provide funding to make programs such as wellness classes, arts and education and a durable medical lending closet possible.
