Opportunity Description

MNeurodivergent is looking for a caring, organized volunteer to serve as a Regional Event Coordinator in Duluth, MN. This leadership role helps build social connections among neurodivergent adults in the community. You'll plan local events, support other volunteers, and foster an environment where everyone can feel welcome and accepted.

If you’re someone who enjoys building relationships, organizing activities, and creating inclusive spaces, this role is a meaningful way to make a difference.


Volunteer Responsibilities

  • Coordinate social events like game nights, casual meetups, or coffee chats for neurodivergent adults

  • Support and mentor volunteer Event Organizers and Event Co-Hosts

  • Serve as the main contact for local participants and volunteers

  • Ensure events are welcoming, inclusive, and aligned with our values

  • Communicate with MNeurodivergent’s Events Committee to share updates and receive support


Who We're Looking For

  • Friendly and reliable

  • Good communicator and organizer

  • Passionate about inclusion and accessibility

  • Lived experience with neurodivergence is welcome, but not required

  • Familiarity with Duluth is helpful

  • Must be 18 or older


Volunteer Commitment

  • Around 6–8 hours per month

  • Flexible scheduling

  • No long-term commitment required—volunteers can step back at any time with notice
