Volunteers Needed for
DCSC’s “HOLIDAY HAUNT” Event
Supported by Denfeld Scooby Doo Club, Ignite AfterSchool, and MDE Afterschool Community Learning Grant
We’re inviting all Community School students and families from Myers Wilkins Elementary School, Lincoln Park Middle School, and Denfeld High School to a Winter Fun Night! We are looking for Volunteers to help support this great event.
When : December 19th, 2024
Where: Denfeld High School
When: 5- 7 PM Event (Set up at 4pm, clean up until 8pm)
Volunteers Needed:
5 volunteers from 4-5pm to help set up and direct partners
15 volunteers to help from 5-7pm in areas such as the Portable Planetarium, Craft and Stem Related Activity Tables, and Greeting guests at the door, directing them to tables/activities, managing pop-up food and resource pantry, serving dinner, and helping where needed
2 volunteers to help with childcare from 6:45-7:45pm for families who are participating in a STEM listening session with Ignite Afterschool. Childcare will only be provided during this session–youth must be supervised by an adult during the rest of the event.
5 volunteers for clean up 7-8pm
