Description

Help open the door to new possibilities for youth with disabilities!

Sign up for a day of fun volunteering at the annual Arrowhead Youth Games. It’s a rewarding and easy way to engage with and support community schools and youth with disabilities.

“This was an incredible, humbling, and heart touching event. I had an absolute blast. Thank you so much for making sure this event continues.”  Avery Potthoff, volunteer at 2018 Arrowhead Youth Games

With the help of over 100 community volunteers, this annual adaptive field day introduces over 300 youth with disabilities from across the Northland to a wide variety of adapted sports and activities. Volunteers assist at activity stations such as adaptive cycling, archery, wheelchair races, volleyball, parachute games, dance, and more. No experience necessary! This event is made possible by Courage Kenny Northland, University of Minnesota Duluth, and regional schools.

Great group volunteer activity: gather a group of co-workers or friends and head to UMD for a day of impactful and fun teambuilding. Most activity stations need 4-6 volunteers.
