DVRC is hosting a free volunteer training for members of the Duluth community to participate in a restorative justice process of Transition Circles and Support Circles. These circles an enriching and rewarding way to make a direct impact within our community. Transition Circles work with repeat offenders of domestic violence as they are transitioning back into the community after a period of incarceration. Support Circles are circles of healing for survivors. This 2-day training will include information on the dynamics of domestic violence, theories of restorative justice, and the circle process. The training will be held Friday, November 17th from 4:30-8:30pm and Saturday, November 18th from 8:30am-3pm. There will be refreshments and a light lunch served on Saturday.
