Who We Are
Our mission and vision is the completion of the North Country Trail segment across northwest Wisconsin. In carrying out this mission, we make quiet outdoor experiences available to hikers, backcountry skiers, and snowshoers of all ages. We began this work in 1997 as a chapter of the trail-wide North Country Trail Association.
What We Do
The Brule-St. Croix Chapter builds, maintains, and promotes the 4,800-mile North Country National Scenic Trail, America's longest hiking trail, across northwest Wisconsin. Our 105 trail miles extend from the Iron River area through Solon Springs, to the Wisconsin-Minnesota state border. We have volunteer opportunities for hike leaders, trail segment adopters, trail builders, trail promoters, and anyone who wants to share the outdoors with others.
