Who We Are

We are a haven for children, youth and adults facing, physical, emotional, or intellectual challenges. Our mission is simple yet profound: to harness the incredible natural therapeutic power of horsemanship to those who need it most, in a community where resources can be difficult if not impossible to find. The sight of a child gaining confidence, an adult finding a moment of peace, or a teenager breaking through emotional barriers while on horseback is nothing short of magical.

What We Do

We are a Path International therapeutic horsemanship center located in rural Northern Wisconsin. Since 2018 HEC Hooves of Joy has served over 200 participants with various disabilities. When traditional avenues for therapy fail, learning to communicate with a horse provides a sense of independence that defies any disability.
