Who We Are

Family Pathways provides a wide range of services in the areas of Food Equity & Access; Domestic & Sexual Violence Services, Aging Services, Parenting Time, and our popular Thrift Stores in the city of Forest Lake and in the counties of Carlton, Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, and Pine in Minnesota as well as Polk County in Wisconsin.  Family Pathways has been a dedicated community partner in these areas and locations for over four decades.    We are looking for your help in reaching community members and your staff to volunteer in our thrift stores, food shelves, and domestic violence shelter.  The hours are flexible and volunteers also can help with remote projects,

What We Do

We provide thrift stores, food shelves, and a domestic violence shelter with the help of volunteers.

Volunteering at Family Pathways food shelves includes a variety of tasks and packing boxes of food for clients who drive up for pickups.  Proper protocols are in place to protect our clients, volunteers, and staff.

Volunteering at Family Pathways thrift stores includes:  assisting with any tasks/projects; re-hanging clothing items/returning them to the sales floor; cross-training in different areas; keeping fitting rooms cleaned; stocking shelves, organizing and cleaning as needed; willing to help as needed.
