Who We Are
Mission: We, in partnership with our community, provide a comfortable and caring home-away-from-home that supports keeping families together and reduces stress during a child’s serious illness. Vision: A world where all children have access to medical care and their families are supported and actively involved in their children’s care. History: Since opening in February 2021, this beautiful five-bedroom facility has given families with seriously ill and injured children a place to relax and regroup, just steps away from Essentia Health’s Duluth campus. Like our four Twin Cities locations, RMH Northland offers a caring and comfortable home-away-from-home to families navigating a child’s health crisis.
What We Do
Services include: Lodging Meals Kitchen access and fully-stocked pantries Laundry facilities An accredited K-12 school Supportive, family-focused programming *All of these services are provided to our families free of charge
