Description

Join us in making a meaningful difference in our community by supporting our Toilet Paper Drive as part of United Way’s Day of Caring. While food donations are essential, many families who rely on food shelves also struggle to afford basic household necessities, especially items that cannot be purchased with SNAP benefits, like toilet paper.

Toilet paper is consistently one of the most requested and least donated items at our food shelf. For individuals and families facing financial hardship, even small daily essentials can become difficult choices. When budgets are tight and every dollar goes toward food, items like toilet paper often fall out of reach.

Through this project, we aim to help restore dignity and ease the burden for our neighbors by ensuring they have access to this fundamental necessity. Volunteers, organizations, and community members are encouraged to collect and donate toilet paper to support those in need.

How you can help:

  • Organize a toilet paper collection at your workplace, school, or community group
  • Donate individually or as a team
  • Bring in a roll or a pack—every donation makes a difference
  • Drop off donations at the Salvation Army between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM on Wednesday, May, June 10th.

As a thank-you, we’ll have a special treat for everyone who comes to our offices to donate toilet paper!
