Description

Day of Caring Pantry Drive for Duluth Community School Collaborative  (DCSC)

Thank you for participating in the DAY OF CARING event with the Head of the Lakes United Way. We are greatly appreciative of your willingness to help the community. DCSC is hosting a Clothing and Pantry Drive so we can freshen up and restock our pantries at our 3 school sites here in the Duluth Public Schools. We have pantries in Denfeld High School, Lincoln Park Middle School and Myers Wilkins Elementary School. Summer is a high need time for students and we want to support them and their families.

Donations accepted for the drive could include:

  • Snacks and Drinks
    • Ramon noodles, ready to go canned soups, individual bags of single serve crackers, beef sticks, cheese sticks, graham crackers, protein bars, cereal bars, bags of apples and oranges, fruit snacks, individual apples sauces, individual bags of peanuts, jelly and peanut butter, rice cakes, bagged popcorn, bottled water, bottled gatorades or sports drinks.
  • Clothing and Personal Hygiene-
    • All size- socks, black stretch pants, sweat pants (grey or black), running pants, colored T-shirts (grey, black, red, pink, white) athletic shorts for male and female, boxers and underwear, gym shoe style tennis shoes for males and females, black flip flops,
    • Chapsticks, deodorant, shampoo and conditioner, water bottles, tooth brushes, hand and bath towels, hand soaps, tooth paste, brushes for females, hair bands for ponytails, feminine products (Tampons /Pads)

Anything in the general areas above would be greatly appreciated and that being said. On behalf of all the DCSC staff, I would like to say thank you for your time and consideration. We all appreciate each and every one you, and more so- We thank you all for taking the time to look at our DAY OF CARING NEEDS. Have a great end of the school year and an even better SUMMER here in Lovely Duluth.

Best Regards, Cassie Seeley,  Volunteer Coordinator, DCSC
