The Lake Superior Railroad Museum is located in downtown Duluth, on track level of the historic Union Depot, built in 1892. Recognizing the great contributions of railroading to our region, the Lake Superior Railroad Museum preserves, interprets, and educates the public on the history of railroading.
Will you help us clean our artifacts? The Lake Superior Railroad Museum has been under construction due to a new HVAC installation in the Depot building and we could use your help cleaning displays just in time for our busy season. We will provide cleaning products and instructions on which areas of the museum need the most attention. Some may even have the opportunity to climb on trains not normally accessible to the public. Learn railroad history and fun train facts while you help clean the museum!
