Help Chum Shine: Warming Center Floor Refresh Project
Join Chum in creating a clean, welcoming environment for our neighbors this winter. The Warming Center provides a safe place for people to rest during Duluth’s harshest nights—and we’re looking for a small team to help get it ready for the season.
Project Details
We’re seeking a crew of 4–5 volunteers to assist with waxing the floors at the Warming Center.
The project includes:

Stripping the old wax

Thoroughly cleaning the floors

Applying 2–3 layers of new floor wax
All materials and equipment will be provided. Volunteers should wear clothing suitable for light labor and cleaning tasks.
Your work will help ensure the Warming Center remains a safe, comfortable, and dignified space for guests during the coldest months of the year.
