Host families will pick up students from the Duluth International Airport on Saturday, July 23 when the students arrive (arrival time TBA) and provide activities through the rest of the weekend. Starting Monday, July 25 through Friday, July 30, host families will drop off students at 8:30 am at the Marshall School parking Lot (1215 Rice Lake Road) and pick them up after camp at 4:30 pm (with the exception of Thursday afternoon and Friday morning, when the students will be on an overnight camping trip). Host families will drop off students at 1 pm on Sunday, July 31 at Marshall School for the start of the Duluth and North Shore Adventure Sampler for Teens.
Host families should plan to provide meals and snacks (including a bag lunch for day camp on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) for students as well as spend Sunday, July 24 showing students around Duluth to see some of the highlights of the area. Additionally, students and families are invited to participate in the 19th annual Two Harbors Kayak Festival on Saturday, July 30 at Burlington Bay from 9 am - 4 pm.
Host families must pass a background check.
