Every month, Safe Haven provides shelter to 40+ survivors of domestic violence and their families. You have the opportunity to help welcome survivors into shelter by creating Welcome Kits providing some of the basic needs that guests will have while in shelter. This is an off-site volunteer opportunity that is great for individuals who are looking to do a drive or looking for a group project.
These kits include: shampoo, conditioner, body wash/bar soap, deodorant, a basic razor, toothbrush & toothpaste. Groups in the past have also chosen to include: socks, lotion, loofas or other items that the assembler wants to include.
