Our final grade rescue
HAPPENING ON June 2, 3, and 4 At Denfeld High School in the MEDIA CENTER
This will only be offered to students whose final semester grade is between 50-59%. The teachers will go to the library during their assigned time and work with students that qualify to improve their grade. We will have support staff and tutors available to coordinate and work with kids. But the Extra hands of Volunteers are so much needed.
The goal of the grade rescue is for students to do just enough to get their grades from an F to a D. It is not to get kids to turn in all missing work or to get kids to do anything beyond earning a D. Please keep that in mind as you prepare to help kids rescue their grade.
The schedule for the week will be as follows:
Monday, June 2 (9-3:30pm) Math–Music, Pop Rock, College and Career Readiness, PE, English–9th Grade Futures, CTE, College and Career, Health
Tuesday, June 3 (9-3:30pm) Science–Art
Wednesday, June 4 (9-3:30pm) Social Studies, College and Career, Computer Science, World Language
