Join IET as we celebrate Juneteenth through community engagement, creativity and connection. Volunteers will help welcome community members, support outreach activities, and assist with participant intakes, and help facilitate an interactive community art project. Participants will be invited to contribute handprints, artwork, and messages to a large canvas celebrating freedom, resilience and community. Volunteer responsibilities may include: event setup and teardown, greeting and engaging participants, assisting with community outreach, help facilitating interactive art project, maintaining supplies and cleanup materials. we welcome volunteers for the full day or individual shifts. This is a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys Community engagement, art, social justice, and creating welcoming spaces.
