Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northland is looking for individuals to join our Governing and Local Advisory Boards.
If are engaged in and understand the needs of your community (especially youth) and hope to empower and inspire all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens, that this opportunity is for you!
The Governing Board determines the strategic direction of the organization, ensures leadership & resources to meet the organization's needs, approves annual budgets, plans infrastructure, secures major gifts, sets policy and ensures compliance.
Each community served also has a Local Advisory Board (Duluth/Superior, Grand Rapids, Hibbing). The role of the advisory board is to support local clubs to meet key performance indicators, raise funds to support the local budget, build community awareness & engagement, and to represent local needs to the Governing board.
