Volunteer: Join our Board at the Duluth Bethel!

The Duluth Bethel is recruiting up to 8 new members to join our Board of Directors. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for the community and are interested in supporting the Duluth Bethel as a non-profit organization providing substance use disorder services and correctional halfway house services to individuals looking to change their lives. 

Primary duties:

Our Board is responsible for the purpose, programs and public accountability of the nonprofit organization

Members would:

Attend monthly board meetings, read background information and reports provided prior to Board meetings Membership on one committee of the Board- Finance, Marketing, Program                                                   
Represent the organization in the community and enhance the public image                                                   Engage in strategic planning sessions as needed                                                                                                  Monitor and evaluate the job performance of the Executive Director

Board meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month from 3:30pm-4:30pm Committee meetings are on either the second or third Thursday of the month.

We are seeking applicants with diverse perspectives and experiences as well as experience in the following areas:
