Volunteer: Summer DASH Volunteers and Tutors at Denfeld with DCSCSummer DASH Volunteers/Tutor needed JUNE 15TH - JULY 24TH, 2026 Tutor students during Summer Dash Denfeld High School! As a volunteer: you will support us in providing DASH (Denfeld After School Happenings), a safe space after school for high schoolers.DASH provides a safe space to study, access tutors, and participate in recreation. Days DASH Happens: DASH typically runs Monday- Thursday from 12:30-3:30 pm and Fridays for Field Trips at that same time..….We especially prefer tutors who can consistently attend DASH one or more times per week. This is important because tutoring is most beneficial to students when they see the same tutors every week and can build relationships with those tutors. Volunteers are supervised by the Denfeld Full-Service Community School Coordinator. Tutors for all subject areas are welcome! Math and chemistry are especially desired. You do not need tutoring experience to volunteer with us, and even coaching on basic problem solving and organizational skills are beneficial to our students. You don’t have to consider yourself “smart” to help students- caring adults who are willing to try, motivate, and to learn alongside our students are welcome. Volunteer commitments: ● Show up in-person for the students (ideally weekly) ● Follow program expectations ● Submit to a background check ● Personal commitment to anti-racism and the mission, goals, and philosophy of the Duluth Community School Collaborative Please contact Cassie our Volunteer Coordinator with any interest in this or any DCSC Volunteer Oppertunities cassie@duluthcsc.org or text her at 218-608-894 Agency: Duluth Community School Collaborative Summer DASH Volunteers/Tutor needed JUNE 15TH - JULY 24TH, 2026 Tutor students during Summer Dash Denfeld High School!
