Volunteer: Give and Get Day Volunteers

Give & Get is a Saturday event that is open to the public at all of our office locations. This is for community members that may not have the ability to utilize our Donated Equipment Program during weekday hours.

This event gives a second life to gently used durable medical equipment. With the help of on-site volunteers the day of, each item will be cleaned and refurbished for someone in need, completely free of charge. What might otherwise go unused now helps support safety, mobility, and independence for individuals across Minnesota.

At our Duluth office (4815 Burning Tree Rd, Suite 200), we are looking for volunteers that can assist with cleaning equipment and making minor repairs to ensure it's in great shape for the next community member who needs it.

At ConnectAbility of MN, our Donated Equipment Program gives a second life to gently used mobility and medical equipment. This free program supports individuals in financial need by providing the tools they need to live more independently.

We are looking for volunteers to help with intake, cleaning, and minor repairs of the durable medical equipment donated to ensure it's in the best shape to then donate out to a community member that needs it, at no cost! Examples of work include wiping down wheelchairs, swapping walker legs, replacing rollator breaks, and removing duct tape and stickers.
