On Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 9 AM to 3 PM at Asbury United Methodist Church (6822 Grand Avenue, Duluth), thousands of neighbors gather for a beloved summer tradition filled with food, fun, and the one-of-a-kind Rhubarb Javelin competition. Whether you're hurling a rhubarb stalk as far as you can or aiming for the bullseye in the Accuracy Challenge, it's a day of laughter and friendly competition for all ages — kids, families, and everyone in between.
Beyond the fun, the Rhubarb Festival is a powerful expression of what Duluth does best: showing up for one another. Every dollar raised goes directly to Chum, a faith-based organization that provides food, shelter, and essential services to community members in need.
