Who We Are
Wildwoods is a 501(c)3 nonprofit wildlife rehabilitation organization in Duluth, Minnesota. Wildwoods was founded in 2006, and is licensed by both the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Even thought we haven't been around long, we are already the second largest wildlife rehabilitation center in Minnesota in terms of numbers of animals admitted and cared for.
We are funded entirely by donations and grants, all of which support Wildwoods' joint missions of animal care and community education.
What We Do
We work to help orphaned, sick, and injured animals return to their natural lives. We also strive to be a resource for people who find these animals, and to educate people on ways to reduce human/wildlife conflict. We invite you to browse through pictures and information on our website. We are fortunate to live in such a wild, wonderful corner of the world!
Mission
To promote understanding, appreciation, and well being of wildlife and the world we share through compassion, care, and community involvement.
