Center Against Sexual and Domestic Abuse

Who We Are

CASDA's mission is to provide supportive services to individuals hurt by domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse as we advocate for a community effort to end violence. The Center Against Sexual and Domestic Abuse has been providing quality comprehensive services to victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse for more than 30 years. Our service area is comprised of Douglas, Bayfield, and Ashland counties (WI) as well as the entire Twin Ports area.

What We Do

CASDA services address a wide variety of victim and survivor needs, from immediate crisis intervention with the option of emergency shelter, to longer-term support to help clients achieve and maintain safety and stability.

Our professionally trained advocates work to empower clients by emphasizing personal choice and respect. We provide options and allow clients to choose their own path to healing while guiding and supporting them through that process.

Some of CASDA’s current programs include: a 24-hour helpline, emergency shelter, domestic violence & sexual assault advocacy services, peer counseling, support groups, children’s program, legal services, and a rural outreach program.

Services are provided to adults and children regardless of race, color, religion/creed, ability, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, national origin, citizenship status, or income level. In addition to providing direct services, we strive to educate the community on the dynamics of abuse and engage them in our efforts to end violence.
