Who We Are

The Center for Interprofessional Health sparks innovation in interprofessional education, practice, research, and collaboration. It supports the diverse needs of University of Minnesota health professions schools, colleges, and programs system-wide to prepare the next generation as a collaborative practice-ready workforce serving Minnesota and beyond.

What We Do

The 1Health Interprofessional Education Curriculum provides interprofessional learning opportunities and experiences that allow learners to deepen their knowledge and develop the skills they need to effectively contribute to team-based, interprofessional collaboration as future health professions.

The Community Teacher program connects students with volunteers called Community Teachers.

Community Teacher Volunteers share their experiences as patients navigating the healthcare system, managing chronic health conditions, and actively participating in coordinating their care with the next generation of health professionals.
